Aoife joined Applerigg in 2023 and leads investments through the Sustainable Growth Fund, focusing on asset-backed, high-potential businesses across the UK. She works closely with management teams to support scale-up strategies, often through multi-site expansion and operational transformation. She is particularly passionate about backing diverse leadership teams and supporting businesses that are using innovation to unlock new avenues for growth. Aoife sits on the boards of Xenia Venues, Dormy Care Homes, The Woodland Burial Group, and Yealand Fund Services.

Prior to Applerigg, she had over a decade of experience in investment banking and investment roles. She began her career in Credit Suisse’s UK investment banking team, where she advised private and listed companies on M&A and capital raising. She has worked closely with management teams and private equity investors across a wide range of sectors, bringing strong analytical skills, commercial judgement, and transaction experience to support management teams and investors in shaping and executing growth strategies.

Aoife holds a BComm in Economics and Maths from University College Cork and a MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School.
