A fifth-generation member of the Scott family, Oliver became Chairman of Applerigg in June 2020. Oliver has been a serial entrepreneur in healthcare, backed by venture capital investors. As Founder and CEO, he built and operated psychiatric hospitals and specialist care homes before exits in 2012, 2014 and 2018.

He remains a non-executive director of Albion Care Communities, a group of high-end, new-build care homes, which he co-founded in 2014 and ran as CEO until 2018. Oliver began his career as a doctor, working in Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals in London and the Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia.

Oliver has a BSc in Psychology from Kings University College, London and an MBBS from Kings Medical School, London.
